Program Director’s Message
Welcome to the Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy
The Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University (LIMU) is a pioneering program, being the only one within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the university, and across Libya. The program is renowned for its outstanding contributions to clinical pharmacy education and research.
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the Libyan International Medical University offers a two-year, full-time Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy at its campus in Benghazi. The program focuses on developing students’ problem-solving skills, enabling them to become leaders in the pharmacy sector.
Among the program’s key features are its innovative curriculum, student-centered learning approach, and extensive practical experiences in pharmaceutical practice. By integrating science and practice, the program includes both theoretical courses and hands-on experiential learning. Students are also required to complete carefully designed research projects, culminating in a Master’s thesis that is publicly defended before internal and external examiners.
By the end of the first academic year, all students are awarded Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy provided they have successfully passed all courses. This also serves as an exit point for students who wish to withdraw from the program for any reason.
